Select. Fix. Right where you write.

Select text in any app and press Control Option W. Pick an action, and Tora replaces the text in place.

Your first two actions sit in the pill. The rest wait behind "…".

One click each. Undo stays for five seconds.

Type what you want, like "less formal", or add it as your own action in Settings.

How it works

Select, pick, replace

  1. Select text, press Control Option W

    In Mail, Slack, your editor, or a browser. The Writer pill opens next to your text.

  2. Pick an action

    Your first two actions sit in the pill. The rest wait behind the "…" button.

  3. Tora replaces the text

    The new text lands in place. Undo stays for five seconds if you want the old text back.

What is the Tora Writer?

Writer fixes text where you wrote it. Select text in any app, press Control Option W, pick an action, and Tora replaces the text in place.

Which actions does Writer have?

Fix grammar, De-slop, Shorter, Friendly, Professional, Email, Translate, and your own instruction. You can add your own actions in Settings.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Undo stays for five seconds after Tora replaces your text.

Does my text leave my Mac?

On Free, no. The writing model runs on your Mac. With Tora Cloud, text goes to Tora's servers and AI providers to be processed.

Is Writer a Grammarly alternative?

It does a similar job on demand: you select text and pick a fix. Writer runs on your Mac for free, and it does less than Grammarly, with no suggestions while you type.
