These are the terms for Tora, the Mac app from Ten Miracle (“we”, “us”). When you install or use Tora, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Tora.

## What Tora is

Tora is a Mac app with four agents: Dictation, Writer, Meetings, and Live suggestions.

- **Free** runs all four agents on your Mac. It costs nothing and needs no account.
- **Tora Cloud** is an optional paid plan. It adds larger models on our servers, AI answers across your meetings, connectors, and one plan for up to 3 Macs.

How we handle your data is in the [Privacy](https://usetora.com/privacy/) page.

## Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use Tora on Macs that you own or control. You may not:

- copy, sell, rent, or share Tora, except as the law lets you
- take Tora apart or change it to get its source code, except as the law lets you
- remove our notices from Tora
- use Tora to build a competing product

Tora and its parts stay ours or our licensors’. You own what you create with Tora.

## Accounts

You need an account only for Tora Cloud. To keep it safe:

- Give true details and keep them current.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else uses your account.

## Tora Cloud subscription

- Polar is the merchant of record. Polar sells the subscription to you, takes the payment, and handles tax and invoices. Polar’s terms also apply to your purchase.
- The plan renews each month or each year, as you choose, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time on your account page. After you cancel, Tora Cloud stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Then your account returns to Free. Your data on your Mac stays on your Mac.
- Launch pricing: if you subscribe at a launch price, you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active. If your subscription ends, a new subscription can have a different price.
- We may change prices for new subscribers at any time. If we change the price for you, we tell you before the next renewal, and you can cancel before it starts.
- Refunds: if you think you were charged by mistake, email [hello@usetora.com](mailto:hello@usetora.com). We look at each case. Your rights under the law where you live stay.

## Macs on your plan

One Tora Cloud plan works on up to 3 Macs. You can see and remove a Mac in Tora, in Settings › Tora Cloud, and add another. Do not share one plan with people outside your household or team.

## Acceptable use

Do not use Tora to:

- break the law or the rights of other people
- record or listen to a person without the consent that the law of your place requires
- make or send harmful, abusive, or deceptive content
- attack, overload, or try to get around the limits of Tora Cloud
- resell Tora Cloud, or use it to build a competing service

You are responsible for telling the people on your calls that you take notes with Tora, where the law requires it.

We may limit or stop an account that breaks these rules.

## AI output

Tora uses AI models. They can be wrong. Text, notes, summaries, and suggestions may have mistakes or leave things out.

- Check AI output before you rely on it.
- You are responsible for what you send, say, or decide with it.
- Do not use Tora as the only source for legal, medical, or financial decisions.

## Third-party services

Tora Cloud and some features use other services: AI providers, Polar, Cloudflare, Resend, PostHog, and apps you connect, such as Notion, Slack, Linear, and Gmail. Their own terms apply when you use them. We are not responsible for what they do.

## Availability

We work to keep Tora and Tora Cloud running, but we do not promise that they never stop or never have errors. We may change, pause, or remove features. We tell you about big changes that affect a paid plan.

## No warranty

Tora is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promise that Tora fits a particular purpose, is free of errors, or is always available. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

## Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or special losses, such as lost profit, lost data, or lost business. Our total liability for any claim about Tora is limited to the amount you paid us for Tora Cloud in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not let us limit.

## Ending the service

You can stop using Tora at any time. Delete the app, and cancel Tora Cloud on your account page.

We may end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering Tora. If we stop Tora Cloud, we tell you first and refund the unused part of any period you paid for.

When your access ends, these parts stay in force: your licence limits, AI output, the limits of liability, and the governing law.

## Changes

We may change these terms. We change the date at the top. For a change that matters, we tell you in the app or by email before it starts. If you keep using Tora after the date it starts, you accept the new terms.

## Governing law

These terms follow the laws of India. Courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, have jurisdiction over a dispute, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to a court in your own place.
