Each price is the company's list price for its individual Pro plan, billed monthly, in US dollars before tax, as shown on its own site on October 17, 2026. Prices vary by region, and yearly plans cost less. Each of these apps also has a free plan with limits, and each does more than the one job listed here. ## How Tora Cloud works.

Tora Cloud is optional. The free app stays as it is, and you can add Cloud on any Mac later.

- **What runs where**: On Free, the models run on your Mac. With Cloud, audio and text go to Tora's servers and AI providers to be processed. Notes still live on your Mac.
- **Sign in your way**: Use Apple, Google, Microsoft, or email. Email sign-in sends a 6-digit code.
- **Up to 3 Macs**: One plan covers up to 3 Macs. See and remove them in Tora, in Settings › Tora Cloud.
- **Checkout by Polar**: Polar handles cards, tax, and invoices. You see the price before you pay.
- **Cancel any time**: Cancel from your account page. The free app keeps working on your Mac.
